You lead first and must win 8 of 15 tricks. Choose the suit that beats all others.
Follow the led suit if you can. Highest trump wins the trick, else highest of the led suit. Winner leads next — and picks trump next hand.
Saath Aath (Seven-Eight) — how it works
The game: the two-player version of Teen Do Paanch. You vs the AI.
Deck: 30 cards — A K Q J 10 9 8 7 of every suit, minus the 7♠ and 7♣. Dealt 15 each → 15 tricks per hand. Rank high→low: A K Q J 10 9 8 7.
Targets: one player must win 8 tricks, the other 7 (they sum to 15). The hand's picker takes the 8 and chooses the trump suit; the opponent takes 7.
Play: the picker leads. Follow the led suit if you can; if void, play anything (trump or a discard). Highest trump wins the trick, else the highest card of the led suit. The trick's winner leads the next.
Success: a player succeeds by winning at least their target. Whoever takes more tricks (8+) wins the hand, and picks trump + takes the 8 in the next hand.
Match: a running tally of hands won carries across the session.
