Teams: You (South) + Partner (North) vs West + East. Partners sit across.
Deal: 52 cards, 13 each. Rank high→low: A K Q J 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2.
Trump is hidden. No trump exists until the first time a player cannot follow the led suit — at that moment the trump suit is revealed and applies for the rest of the hand.
Play: Leader plays any card; everyone must follow suit if able. If void, play anything (trump or discard). Highest trump wins the trick, else highest card of the led suit. Winner leads next.
Scoring — the four 10s. Whichever team’s won tricks contain the 10s counts them. 3 of 4 tens = win the hand; all 4 = Kot (double). If tens split 2–2, the team with more tricks (7+) wins.
